Brian L. Fowler, MD, FAAEMBrian was born in Kerrville Texas and lives in Boerne with his wife Cindy and two children, Morgen and Wil. He has practiced Emergency Medicine in San Antonio for the past 12 years and looks forward to sharing his skills with the Boerne community at our new clinic. He attended Texas A&M University and received his Medical Degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1985. He is Board certified in Emergency Medicine. Brian was a physician in the Navy for 8 years and received the Navy Achievement and Commendation Medals. His community involvement has included being a city appointee to the Library Foundation Board and he is a cofounder and past board member of the Geneva School of Boerne. He is a member of the Oak Hills Church. Brian enjoys family, tennis, and gardening and looks forward to serving this community.
Bryan M. Dunn, MD, FACEPBryan Dunn is from Kingsville, Texas and has lived in Boerne since 1996. He and his wife Tonya have 3 children, James, Lauren, and Kristen. He graduated from Baylor University with Honors and The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He completed an Emergency Medicine residency and is Board-Certified in Emergency Medicine. He practiced Emergency Medicine in San Antonio from 1995 to 2007. Bryan is an outdoor type who loves bird hunting and fishing on the Texas coast. He is excited about the opportunity to serve the Boerne community.
Dr. John RheinerJohn Rheiner, M.D. is a native of San Antonio, born at the Nix Hospital. He attended Churchill High School, and then Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Immediately following his graduation from A&M, he was accepted into medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, and received his M.D. degree in 1985. Dr. Rheiner then completed three years of General Surgery residency training at the L.S.U. Medical School Residency Program in Shreveport, Louisiana. He returned to San Antonio in 1988 and worked in Urgent Care Medicine with Texas Med Clinic in San Antonio for 20 years, until 2008. In April of 2008, Dr. Rheiner joined the Boerne Urgent Care Clinic, electing to practice close to his home in Fair Oaks Ranch.
Dr. Alice EppersonDr. Alice Epperson was born in Floresville, Texas and raised in San Antonio where she currently resides. She is married to John Phillips, MD and has two children, James and Lauren. After receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree from St. Mary’s University in 1992, she attended medical school at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where she graduated in 1999. Dr. Epperson completed her Family Practice residency at Spohn Memorial in Corpus Christi. From there, she practiced Emergency Medicine in Kingsville and also in Floresville along with Primary Care Medicine in San Antonio until 2007 when she decided to join Bulverde Urgent Care’s team of physicians.
Dr. Epperson enjoys spending time with her family and lake activities on Lake LBJ. She looks forward to meeting the medical needs of the Bulverde community and the surrounding areas.
Dr. Charles Patrick IsbellPatrick grew up in north central Texas in a small town called Vernon. After graduating high school he attended college at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX where he received a BS in Chemistry and Psychology. During his first year of medical school he met his wife and married her over the Christmas Holidays of their third year. They both graduated from UTMB in Galveston, TX. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at UTHSC Houston in 1993. After completing their residencies, the Isbell's moved to San Antonio were Patrick practiced Emergency Medicine for 16 years. He served as the medical director of the ER at Methodist Specialty & Transplant Hospital and at Christus Santa Rosa NW for many years before leaving to begin his practice in Urgent Care.
Patrick is the proud father of 4 children; Nicholas, Cassie, Sean and Kayla. His wife practices Nephrology in the Medical Center in San Antonio.
Dr. David NelsonDr. David Nelson is originally from California and moved to San Antonio in 1998. He graduated from USC medical school as a Dean's Scholar and completed his Family Practice Residency at Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center. He is board certified in Family Medicine and has been practicing Urgent Care and Occupational medicine since 1998. He lives in San Antonio with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, cooking, hunting, aviation and is attempting to learn Mandarin Chinese. He is looking forward to continuing servicing the needs of his patients in the areas surrounding San Antonio.
Dr. Chaylah LomoteyDr. Chaylah Lomotey was born in Connecticut but spent many of her childhood years in Texas. She attended Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts and then graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine with both her MD and Master’s in Public Health degrees in 2007. She and her husband moved down to the Rio Grande Valley where she did her residency in Family Medicine at the Valley Baptist Hospital in Harlingen, Texas. She has worked as the sole physician for the largest immigration detention facility in the US and practiced primary care family medicine in rural South Texas. She has also spent time working in Urgent care and Occupational medicine clinics the Houston, Austin, and San Antonio Metro areas until her family’s recent move to New Braunfels.
Chaylah is widely traveled and has done medical and mission work in Romania, Haiti, and Ghana. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, homeschooling her children, hiking, and helping at her small church. She looks forward to serving the New Braunfels Community through her work at the Urgent Care and Occupational Health Centers of Texas.
Dr. Danielle Coulter
Dr. Danielle Coulter is a Texas native, originally from the Panhandle. She graduated from the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science before attending the University of Texas in Austin. She worked in pharmaceutical research for a few years in Austin and then, attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. After graduation, Dr. Coulter attended residency training in New York at Beth Israel Medical Center, the Manhattan residency campus of Albert Einstein School of Medicine.
She then returned to Texas, serving as a clinic Medical Director with University of Texas Correctional Managed Care before joining Schertz Urgent Care in April 2014. Dr. Coulter lives in San Antonio with her husband, Mark and daughter Makenzie. She looks forward to serving the Schertz community.
Dr. Robert Freeman
Dr. Dr. Robert Freeman is proud to be a 5th generation Texan. He was born and raised in Houston where he attended Rice University graduating with a double major in biology and religious studies. He then studied medicine at Texas Tech University Health Center at both the Lubbock and El Paso campuses earning his doctor of medicine degree in 1988. He did his postgraduate medical training at Spohn Memorial Medical Center in Corpus Christi, the regional trauma center. He is board certified in family medicine.
Dr. Freeman practiced emergency medicine in the Corpus Christi and San Antonio areas for over fifteen years and has lived in San Antonio since 1992 with his wife Henrietta, a San Antonio native. They have two daughters Miranda and Nina. He is eager to provide urgent medical care to the people of Boerne and surrounding areas.
